I have always been collecting L V cafés from around the world. Last month, when I was in Bangkok, I wanted to try one but completely didn’t have the time to go. This time in Paris, I must try it out!
The reservation system allows for lunch bookings, but actually, booking lunch is no different from booking afternoon tea. You can totally book lunch and go eat cake instead. Personally, I recommend making a reservation in advance. I’ve seen others share that they just queued on-site, but those without a reservation ended up waiting for a long time. If you have a reservation, there’s a dedicated lane next to you, and someone will quickly guide you to your seat! Also, I suggest going at the earliest time to avoid clashing with the lunch crowd!
I felt there were no issues with the service, but the portion sizes of the dishes were a bit small. However, for such a luxurious lunch, it’s more about the atmosphere rather than an all-you-can-eat experience.
Today we ordered several dishes that looked very special on the menu:

We weren’t planning to order this at first, thinking it would just be a regular egg, but it looked so cute that we couldn’t resist the temptation to order it! The dish was indeed very adorable, featuring a pastry-like bread shaped like the LV logo. The egg inside was a blend of cheese and egg, which you could dip into the bread and enjoy. We finished all the bread, but still had some egg left, which was very rich on its own!
❤️ Scallop Carpaccio
The scallops in this dish were special, sliced thinly and paired with slightly flavored pickled daikon. There was also an orange sauce on the side that added a chewy and crispy texture to the overall experience. I thought it was flavorful on its own, but the orange sauce really enhanced the sweetness of the scallops!
❤️ Shellfish Raviolis
I think it's hard for anyone to say no to this dish. After all, they’ve stamped the entire Italian dumpling with LV’s imprint! The visual experience is there, and the texture is rich as well, especially with the shrimp on top, enhancing the seafood flavor when combined with the sauce in the ravioli!
❤️ Chocolate Entremets
As for the dessert part, I can't really recommend it, as there was an extra layer of caramel in the middle of the chocolate mousse. Even though there was chocolate cake in the middle, the caramel and mousse were still too sweet. Overall, this dessert only impressed me with its appearance; it looked super high-end, but it didn’t leave us satisfied.
In previous L V locations, I mostly recommended the dessert section, but this time I preferred their lunch menu. I think the chef’s creativity is very special, presenting the dishes in unique ways and effectively using sauces to enhance the natural sweetness of the ingredients. I recommend anyone visiting Paris to give it a try!
