I have always liked eating all kinds of dumplings and steamed buns. In short, any food with flour and meat inside is probably on my favorite list.

This steamed dumpling restaurant is located near 228 Park and Taipei Main Station. It is about a 4-minute walk from Exit Z4. Almost all restaurants nearby sell food. On weekdays, the business of nearby office workers is busy enough at noon.

Although this shop is called Steamed Dumpling King, it is actually more like a Taiwanese snack shop. It also sells red meat soup, Lu pork rice, cold noodles, hot and sour noodles, etc. You are not afraid that eating steamed dumplings alone will make you feel a little empty.

Steamed dumplings are $70 for a portion of 10. They come in two flavors: cabbage and chives. You can also mix them. I ordered half and half today.

The steamed dumplings are pretty big, and I saw the clerk making the steamed dumplings next to me, so they should be still fresh and not aged for a long time.
The skin of the steamed dumplings will not be very thick because they are not freshly taken out of the steamer, so the skin will be a little harder, but I personally don’t think it is a shortcoming and they are still delicious.
But it's a pity that the taste is a bit warm. I was looking forward to eating hot steamed dumplings.
Both flavors are quite delicious, and there are quite a lot of fillings. They don’t taste too thin. If I really have to choose one flavor, I would choose leek, which has a more prominent taste.

My colleague ordered red pork soup for $65 and pork rice for $35.
Lu Pork Rice seems to be the lean meat type. I personally prefer the fatty meat type, but I haven’t eaten it, so I won’t comment on the taste.
I took a few bites of the red meat soup. The soup has a sweet southern taste. I like it. The meat is quite large and has a solid texture. There are at least 5 pieces in the whole bowl. I will feel better after finishing this bowl. Quite full

Overall, the price is quite affordable and the food tastes good. I am willing to visit again!

ps. Looking at the Google reviews, many people said that the attitude of the boss and shop assistants (aunties) was not good, but when I went to dine today, I thought they were quite friendly~
