🦆 Duck Meat Zhen, Dagon Store
🦆 A well-known local snack in Yancheng

Whenever you arrive at Yancheng, you’ll see long lines at Duck Meat Zhen. There's also a branch on Dagon Road. Today, since the main store was closed, we chose the branch. The branch looks newer and is cleaner and brighter, but the overall layout is similar to the main store. On the left is the counter and cooking area, while the dining area is on the right. The dining area is air-conditioned, and it seems there are also seats on the second floor. On weekdays, by around five in the evening, the first floor was already full, but it didn't require standing in line.

🦆 Duck Rice (small) $60
The duck meat itself isn’t seasoned much, but the sauce poured over it balances the flavor just right. However, today the meat felt a bit tough. I’m not sure if it was a quality issue that day. A friend felt that it lacked a certain flavor compared to the main store, but I thought the portion of duck meat was quite generous. Considering the price, it’s acceptable.

🦆 Duck Blood Soup $35
The duck blood is of moderate tenderness and the portion is adequate, but unfortunately, the soup is way too salty, making you feel thirsty after just a few sips.

Overall, it should be quite similar to the main store. For those who don’t want to wait in line, you can visit the Dagon store and enjoy affordable snacks!
