Today I came to try a drink shop I have never tried before, "Gu De Hao Hao". Although it is a chain handshake brand, there are currently only two branches in Taipei City. The branch I visited today is located near Taipei Main Station, only a 4-minute walk from Exit Z4.

The store design mainly uses silver metal surfaces, which is quite textured. The store staff are very friendly and make people feel good from ordering to picking up the food.

The main signature of "Gu De Hao Hao" is Sun Moon Lake Ruby Black Tea, but because I wanted to drink pearl milk tea today, I saw a drink on the menu that directly contains pearls. I guess it must be the perfect combination in the store's opinion, so I I chose this one

The tea base is made from Assart, which is probably made from Assam black tea. The description says it has a malty aroma, but I can’t quite taste it. I think the aftertaste of the black tea tastes like grass tea; Personally, I think this cup of fresh milk tea tastes ordinary. It doesn’t have an amazing taste. I don’t like it very much.
Choose one point of sugar, the sweetness is quite right; the pearls are made of white jade pearls, the pearls seem to be quite generous, but they taste a bit soft and not chewy enough.

Overall, I think Gudehao’s pearl tea Nadi is average and a bit expensive. It’s not a drink I would particularly want to repurchase. I might try the signature ruby ​​tea Nadi next time to see if it’s better.
