If you like to eat bucket chicken dishes, don’t miss this hidden private restaurant! The appearance of this restaurant is super unobtrusive. If it weren't for the sign, we would have thought it was an ordinary house. When we drove to this restaurant, we wondered if we had gone to the wrong place.

ps. We randomly scrolled through the map at the B&B the day before. We almost didn’t read the reviews, so we just called to make a reservation (how casual is this 😂)

There are about five round tables and several small private rooms in the store. We arrived at 11:30 noon on Sunday, and there was no one group of customers except us. At this time, we started to worry about whether we would step on something wrong.

Let’s talk about the conclusion first: there is no thunder! On the contrary, I feel that we are so lucky to be able to dine at this restaurant accidentally!
And actually by the time we were leaving the restaurant at 13:00, several other tables were also full of customers.

Bucket chicken $1000
The lady boss took the initiative to ask us if we wanted to order buckets of chicken during the reservation call. Fortunately, we did! I saw customers on site who didn’t have reservations and they were all sold out!
In fact, the price is on the high side, but the chicken is so big that we, 5 adults, couldn’t finish the meal and took it home.
When the roasted chicken is served, a large bowl of chicken fat is given. The chicken skin is very delicious and the chicken meat is firm. If it feels a little dry, don’t worry, the chicken fat on the side can be drizzled~

p.s. But I still have to talk about a small drawback. Even though we ordered bucket chicken the day before, we arrived on time at the reservation time, but we still had to wait half an hour for the food to be served.

The prices of other meals are quite cheap, the portions are large, and the CP value is super high ~
Personally recommended items: ham and egg fried rice and noodles, a must-try!

Ham and egg fried rice (two servings) $160
The fried rice was cooked out of the wok, and we could already smell the super fragrant smell while it was still being fried in the pot. We were not disappointed when we tasted it, it was very delicious!

Mee Sua (two portions) $60
The noodles are fried with fried onions and are already salty and delicious. Add some more chicken oil and mix it in. OMG, I can’t stop eating it🤤

Stir-fried asparagus $200, stir-fried flower branches $200
I also think these two dishes are very good. The asparagus remains crispy, the flower branches are very Q, and the seasoning is also very good ~

Stir-fried vegetables $100
It’s made with spinach. It’s worth mentioning that the portion is huge. I once wondered if the boss served it in two portions, but I thought it was a little salty and the taste would be better if it was lighter.

Fried Shansu$200
I think it's a bit bitter, but mainly because I don't like shansu in the first place. Other friends think that shansu has a distinct taste and is delicious.

📒Special notes to make:
There are some hidden dishes outside the menu. You have to ask the boss lady to find out. For example, when we were about to check out, we saw some oyster cakes on the next table. It looked super delicious. I really regret not knowing earlier that there were other meals!

Overall, the proprietress was friendly, the food was excellent, and the price was super affordable. We spent less than $500 per person and we were so full. We still hadn’t finished the chicken, fried rice, and noodles, so we packed it up and took it home for dinner.

It is highly recommended for those who travel to Dajia and Miaoli Gardens in Taichung to come here to eat (remember to book a table and book Tongzi Chicken first), but it is better to have more diners so that you can eat chicken and order dishes from the same table together!
