The types of baozi and steamed buns are rich, including flavors such as vegetable, cheese, scallion, and black sugar taro, with affordable prices.
Upon entering, enjoy a tasting of steamed buns and refreshing iced tea, creating a mini afternoon tea moment that attracts many people.
Tainan has a famous baozi (steamed bun) shop! Every afternoon, a group of people goes to the store to buy them.
There is a wide variety of baozi, and my personal favorite includes many different vegetable flavors, such as bok choy and mushrooms, cabbage buns, green bean tofu buns, and the seasonal bamboo shoots buns. Of course, there are also popular options like cheese, scallions, brown sugar, and taro buns, all at reasonable prices.
On sunny days, the baozi shop has a big selling point: as soon as you enter, there’s a large piece of baozi for tasting, often paired with a refreshing cup of iced tea, basically creating a mini afternoon tea time. No wonder many people spend their afternoons in the store! 🤣
For those interested, you can also have it delivered, and eating them will really lift your spirits! 🌞
