The canelé has an authentic taste, with a rich aroma and wine flavor, but it is slightly sweet and has a softer texture, which is different from what is usually preferred.
The store has small areas for rest, designed with care.
The staff are cute and attentive, willing to communicate with body language, providing thoughtful service and offering paper towels.
While I was on the roadside, I suddenly felt a bit hungry. I saw this bakery and decided to go in. The staff inside were super cute. Although their English wasn't very good, they were eager to communicate with gestures. There's also a small spot inside the bakery where you can sit down and take a little break, which is a nice design!
We actually only ordered one canelé from start to finish, but the shop didn’t mind us resting there; instead, they provided us with paper towels to wipe our hands after finishing, which was very considerate service!
The flavor of the canelé was rather average. I generally prefer a crispier exterior, but here, the canelé was soft all over. Although the taste was quite authentic and you could detect a hint of alcohol, the overall aroma was very rich, but it was just a bit too sweet, which might not suit our Asian taste!
Overall, I felt that the service impressed me more than the food. So if you want to come and give it a try, you might want to choose some savory dishes instead, which might be more to your liking. Looking forward to everyone's sharing!
