I think this should be included in the must-try list in Xiaogang. One box isn't enough to satisfy, and two boxes might be too much. This is Meihe and their egg pancakes.

To be honest, I have to say that the environment here has an old-school vibe, so if you're someone who demands very high hygiene standards, I wouldn't recommend coming here.
Also! If you want to eat here, I sincerely suggest you call ahead to place your order, whether for dining in or takeout, because if there are many people inside, you really have to wait a long time. If you don't want to wait, you can come around 10:00 PM or later for dining in, as the shop is open until dawn.
You order using paper and a pen; the shop provides white paper and pens for you to write down what you want to order and the prices.

Here, the egg pancake flavors are super diverse, with choices like century egg, meat dumpling, karaage chicken, red fermented pork, salted egg, and all sorts of unexpected flavors, and they are all inexpensive. In addition, they also sell toasted bread, drinks, and burgers, so you really don't have to worry about not being able to find what you want to eat (just the issue of indecision!).
I highly recommend the three types shown in the picture; they are from different days because eating three boxes might be too much...

In addition to selling batter egg pancakes, the store also offers pancake skin egg pancakes, with different prices (pancake skin - $5, extra large + $15).
‼️ When eating Meihe, you must add their garlic chili sauce. My standard order is one box of egg pancakes with two spoons of sauce; it won't be too salty at all.

• My MVP. Although there's only cheese stick inside, the happiness level is through the roof.
  Don't mistakenly think it's the same as cheese; although it's ten dollars more than cheese, the level is really incomparable. Cheese sticks are a huge upgrade.
  Each piece has stretchy cheese, and the cheese aroma in your mouth is fantastic... and the texture is even better; it pairs perfectly with the batter (the actual stretching of the cheese is a hundred times better than in my picture; I just didn't take a good shot 🥲).

• Those who don't eat century eggs should be cautious; you might think it's quite strange...
  But for those who love century eggs, please go ahead and order. It was my first time seeing a century egg batter, and with the garlic chili sauce, it's incredibly delicious.

✐ Hash brown cheese batter $50

• Hash browns, which are delicious even on their own, double the tastiness no matter where they are added. You can even experience a slightly crispy texture in the middle, making it the most flavorful of the three types!
