Stinky tofu is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it tastes even better when paired with kimchi and spicy sauce. The flavor is good, but not particularly stunning.
The stall is located inside the Hanmin Night Market, which is clean and comfortable; however, the loudspeaker from the opposite vendor may affect the dining experience.
The store cooperates with the foodpanda ordering system, making it convenient for customers to choose the appropriate portion and for takeout.
Every time I ride past here, the smell is so bad (in a good way) that I really thought about it for a long time before finally willing to stop and pay homage 🙂↕️. The stall is located in the Hanmin Night Market, close to the road, and the environment is quite clean. There are also a few tables for dining inside that look tidy and comfortable. The shop is partnered with Foodpanda for ordering 🐼.
By the way, the loudspeaker from the stall across the street is very noisy, constantly repeating strange pitches of sales slogans. If I were dining in, it would probably make me very annoyed...
The prices can be chosen based on how much one wants to eat👇🏻 The prices are actually about the same as those in tourist night markets:
Large (6 pieces) $80
Medium (5 pieces) $70
Small (4 pieces) $60
3 pieces $50
I chose the five pieces, which was just enough to satisfy my craving for a late-night snack, but if I wanted to be full, that would probably not be possible; maybe I would need to buy 12 pieces, haha.
The store is called "Invincible Crispy Stinky Tofu," and luckily, it lived up to its name. It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; it smells bad but tastes good, especially with pickled cabbage and chili sauce to enhance the flavor. It was delicious, but not particularly amazing; I will come back again when I'm craving it.
