This izakaya is hidden in the alley behind SOGO. The reason why I was attracted to try it was because when I passed by, I saw that the small storefront was doing brisk business. There were even people sitting on the arcade to dine, which made people curious about what is so special about this place.

When you arrive at the store, there are only two tables in the store except for the arcade on the first floor. After you take your seats to the second floor, there is about ten tables. It is relatively comfortable and spacious, you will not feel crowded, and the food is served quickly. The disadvantage is that the seat has no backrest, making it uncomfortable to sit on.

Mentaiko Tamagoyaki tastes very sweet, but the taste of mentaiko is not very obvious. It feels like mentaiko mayonnaise is added.

Creative fried shrimp spring rolls are a bit like Vietnamese cuisine. The spring rolls are full of texture, but the vegetables and seasonings overwhelm the flavor of the shrimp. However, I don’t often eat this kind of spring rolls, so I’m not sure if this is normal.

The fried mentaiko rice balls are hard on the outside and soft on the inside, which is pretty good. You can order it if you want to feel full.
