The hot pot at MO-MO-PARADISE offers delicious meat and vegetables, leaving a delightful taste after the meal. The combination of spicy miso and sukiyaki broth brings out the best flavors of chicken, pork, and beef.
The smell of hot pot easily clings to clothes, which can make people feel a bit embarrassed.
The service staff is efficient, responsible for bringing meat and vegetables to the table, while drinks need to be self-served. Overall performance is satisfactory.
# Xinzhuang Honghui Plaza # MO-MO-PARADISE
As the year comes to a close in the cold winter, it’s finally the right weather for hot pot.
MO-MO-PARADISE is a beloved Japanese hot pot restaurant by my boss, who highly praises it. Arriving at Honghui Plaza after noon, I just made it in time before the afternoon 4 PM dinner period, still enjoying lunch prices. I chose the option of two types of broth for $519 + 10% per person. The meat and fresh vegetables were ordered, and the staff brought them to the table, with the only self-service being beverages.
I ordered the “spicy miso” and “sukiyaki” broths. My boss specifically instructed that chicken and pork must be paired with the spicy miso broth for the best flavor, while the beef should be cooked in the sukiyaki broth to release its fat and achieve a tender, juicy texture. As it turns out, I gained some insights from the meal!
I’m not sure if it was my hunger or my boss's expert guidance on dining, or if MO-MO-PARADISE really does have delicious broth and fresh meats and veggies, but I couldn’t stop eating, indulging in mouthful after mouthful of meat, leaving a fragrant aftertaste!
For drinks, I mixed together two cups of oolong milk tea with crystal QQ. The oolong has a lovely tea aroma, and the milk doesn’t overpower the tea flavor; it’s perfectly sweetened—I really enjoyed it. With the QQ, the texture was excellent.
Today, I finally understood why every time I pass by different MO-MO-PARADISE locations, they are always full, and why my boss loves it so much.
The only thing I’m concerned about when eating hot pot is that by the end, I smell like hot pot all over, taking the smell with me wherever I go—awkward! 😁
