Located next to Daan Forest Park, Caiyuexuan Chongqing Dumplings and Noodles is a well-known restaurant that specializes in Sichuan-style noodles. It is said to have been in operation for over ten years, and with more than a thousand Google reviews, the restaurant's strength is indirectly proven.

Today, I enjoyed fish-flavored noodle with dumplings, spicy dumpling noodles, yam ribs soup, and bitter melon ribs soup, totaling 350 NT dollars.

Fish-flavored noodle with dumplings:
The meat sauce is rich and savory, with a hint of sweetness that blends well with the noodles. It is slightly spicy but not overwhelming.

Spicy dumpling noodles:
The Sichuan sauce is fragrant and spicy, with a numbing sensation from the Sichuan peppercorns. However, the dumpling skins have a slightly powdery texture, which affects the overall experience.

Yam ribs soup and bitter melon ribs soup:
The broth is simmered very well, with the flavors of the ingredients fully integrated, resulting in a smooth and soothing taste. However, there is a relatively high bone-to-meat ratio in the ribs, making them a bit difficult to eat. The yam has a creamy texture, and the combination of bitter melon and small dried fish is excellent.

Overall, this is a noodle restaurant with consistently good flavors. Although parking around is inconvenient, it would be a nice choice to stop by for a meal after visiting the park, flower market, or jade market.

Personally I don’t think it’s too spicy, but it has the aroma of Sichuan spicy food. If you are afraid of spicy food, you can try this dish ~ I highly recommend it👍

Because the green bamboo shoots and pork ribs soup (75 yuan) was gone, the store helped to replace it with chicken soup (85 yuan). This is a hidden version that is not on the menu!
The bamboo shoots are delicious and the soup is delicious. I like it very much. I will try it next time.

Because I wanted to eat it this time, I will try its noodle soup next time!

The yam has a slightly crisp texture, not too soft, and the soup is very fresh and sweet. It is rare to get a yam and pork ribs soup for 65 yuan in Taipei with so many ingredients (there is also a small piece of carrot in the soup). This is my favorite Will want to come back to drink again! ❤️❤️❤️
