The quality of the food is not high, the soup dumplings have thick skins and little meat, the steamed dumplings have hard wrappers, and only the millet porridge, eight-treasure porridge, and braised eggs are somewhat edible.
The restaurant space is not large and has a somewhat stuffy and greasy feeling.
The service attitude is poor; the aunt at the entrance who is soliciting business has a cold attitude towards customers holding meal vouchers.
If it weren't for the hotel's complimentary breakfast...
I think I would only come here once and never return...
I originally felt quite uncomfortable at the entrance... the lady outside trying to draw in business gave us a sour face when she saw us holding the hotel's meal vouchers...
The restaurant is small, a bit stuffy, and has an oily feeling...
The meals came out very quickly... all were already prepared!
We ordered:
❤️ Soup dumplings
They had thick skins and little meat; it was basically a dumpling that can fill you up but doesn't really have much meat filling. Unlike the soup dumplings in Taiwan, these had thick skins and felt more like buns... it's not that I'm not used to it, but there really was too little meat, and it felt more like eating bun skins...
❤️ Steamed dumplings
This one was really a disappointment; I really didn't want to finish it... the entire outer skin was already hard, and I don't know if they've even tried it themselves—how can such a thing be sold to customers?
The only thing in the restaurant that I think was somewhat edible was the millet porridge or the eight-treasure porridge. If you really want to find something to eat, the small wontons might be a little better! After all, that's something that usually doesn't go wrong! Then, the braised egg probably can't go too wrong either... But I really have no confidence in ordering anything else!
No matter if I have the chance to return in the future, I will not step foot in this restaurant again!
