The dishes like Yangchun noodles and wonton soup are quite delicious, especially the Yangchun noodles with scallions and dried shrimp, which make the noodles fragrant. The filling in the wontons is fresh and tasty, making the overall flavor nostalgic.
Although the restaurant environment is mediocre, the bright indoor dining area makes people feel comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is quite good.
The staff's attitude is friendly, and the restaurant offers takeout service to make dining more convenient for customers.
If you happen to be at Taipei Station and don’t know what to eat, consider the unnamed noodle shop on Huayin Street!
I feel that Huayin Street has an overall older vibe, and there’s quite a bit of garbage around. But this place has an indoor dining area, and it’s bright—so it doesn’t feel too bad. Inside, you’ll find the usual snacks! The prices are very affordable.
Wonton and Yangchun Noodles
Wow~ what a nostalgic feeling! I used to eat this kind of dry noodles a lot in high school. It’s just Yangchun noodles! The flavor isn’t too strong, and I think it goes well with spicier side dishes! There are quite a lot of wontons too.
Noodles with Fried Sauce
This is what my friend ordered. There’s a lot of minced meat and fermented bean paste on top. I personally don’t like this taste that much, but my friend thinks it’s pretty good~
Blanched Chinese Water Spinach
This is delicious, fresh Chinese water spinach~ They drizzle some scallion oil on top.
Liver and Pork
The liver and pork here is mostly lean meat and a little bit tough. I think it tastes better with some of their in-house chili sauce.
Braised Snacks
Just some pretty good braised snacks~
Intestine Soup
The broth is decent and not fishy. The intestines are very soft and there’s a lot of them. If you love intestine soup, you should definitely order it XD
Overall, I think it’s just an economical and affordable meal. While the food isn’t particularly stunning, I think it’s quite good. I’d likely visit again!
#北车#hourail station
If I wanted to have some soup for lunch today, I came to this noodle shop.
I ordered dry Yangchun noodles changed to thin noodles and a bowl of wonton soup.
I quite like their Yangchun Noodles. Their scallions are stir-fried with dried shrimps. It’s very fragrant and delicious when poured over the noodles!
The ingredients include bean sprouts and a few seasonal vegetables.
I like that the wonton soup wontons are not too big and the fillings are delicious!
The dining environment is average, but not too dirty, so it's acceptable, although I usually eat out.
This store has become much cleaner since the younger generation took it over, and the prices are affordable, so business is very good during lunch time on weekdays.
If you don’t know what to eat at the train station after arriving, you can refer to it.
