The Qianfang Stone Hot Pot enhances the dining experience with a table-side flambé ritual, and the ingredients are fresh. However, the broth is slightly greasy due to excessive sesame oil, and the aroma hasn't been fully released.
The restaurant has a spacious and comfortable environment, retaining a Japanese style, and is clean and tidy, making it suitable for family gatherings or friend meet-ups.
The staff's attitude is friendly, the efficiency is high, the food is served quickly, the self-service bar is replenished in a timely manner, and the service is attentive and thorough.

"Qian Fang Stone Hot Pot New Taipei Yonghe Store" is a brand-new hot pot brand launched by Taiwan's renowned "Zhu Jian Catering Group" in April 2025.
The name "Qian Fang" is derived from the Taiwanese word for "fragrance," accurately pointing to the unique flavor of stone hot pot.
Each pot features a table-side opening ceremony with stir-frying, which not only brings the ceremonial aspect expected of a stone hot pot but also releases the aroma of the ingredients, offering customers a dual enjoyment of visuals and taste.
【About the Environment】
The dining space maintains Zhu Jian's consistent spaciousness and comfort, with well-planned seating that allows for a certain level of comfort even during peak hours.
Although Qian Fang is a Taiwanese hot pot, the decoration cleverly retains a Japanese style. The overall environment is clean and tidy, making it a great choice for family dinners or gatherings with friends.
【About the Dishes】
When it comes to stone hot pot, the most captivating feature is undoubtedly the signature "Table-side Qian Fang Show."
Dining at Qian Fang, if the main dish selected is a meat product other than fish, the staff will perform a stir-frying process at the table using spices before cooking the meat partially and then adding broth.
Unfortunately, probably due to being newly opened, during this dining experience, the meat was only lightly stir-fried during the aromatic process. It felt like there was much more meat oil and broth that hadn’t been released before it was collected, resulting in a somewhat insufficient aroma.
Additionally, this time the use of sesame oil seemed excessive; while the stir-fry was full of fragrance, the broth's performance was completely overwhelmed by the greasy taste of the sesame oil after boiling, which might be one of the rare stone hot pot broths that I did not enjoy at all...
However, the ingredients were substantial, and the vegetables remained fresh, upholding Zhu Jian's high quality.
【About the Service】
Once again, the dining experience showcased Zhu Jian Group's high standards of service.
The staff were friendly and polite, displaying professionalism and efficiency from seating to the table-side stir-frying process.
The speed of serving was fast, and the replenishment at the self-service bar was timely, with staff checking on tables to see if additional broth was needed and promptly clearing empty plates.
It’s worth noting that currently, Qian Fang’s operating hours do not extend to late-night dining as in the past; this branch is only open until 11 PM. Diners planning to visit during late-night hours should take note.
