海鮮丼的品質整體中上,鮭魚卵和海膽表現不錯,但干貝的份量稍顯不足,蝦子口感良好,花枝則亮眼。附餐的漬物好吃,味噌湯平平。

Located near Hakodate JR Station, the hours of operation for Do-Shita Shop in the Donburi Yokocho area are among the most convenient for similar types of establishments. There are plenty of choices, making it a friendly seafood donburi shop for travelers with less fixed itineraries.
I ordered a seafood mixed donburi with five types: salmon roe, sea urchin, scallops, shrimp, and squid. To be honest, the quality of the seafood isn't on par with what I had at Masazushi in Otaru, but it's still decent. The salmon roe was plump and intact, with a great texture that paired well with rice. The sea urchin melted in the mouth like cream, rich in umami without any bitterness, although it lacked a bit of sweetness. The scallop was cut in half, totaling three pieces, which seems a bit less for the price, but at least the scallops were sweet and delicious. There were three shrimp, but unfortunately, they weren't sweet shrimp, so they didn't taste that sweet. However, the sticky texture was still quite nice. The local specialty squid, while not a high-end ingredient, performed admirably overall and didn't fall short of expectations.
The pickles served with the meal were quite tasty, while the miso soup was average, featuring a sea flavor I didn't care for.
Overall, if I wanted to eat a seafood donburi around three o'clock in the afternoon, I would visit again. However, if there were a wait at other times, I might skip it, as I didn’t leave particularly satisfied. But this is just my personal opinion for everyone's reference.
