Drink shop | NT$40

AI Spot Summary

The overall quality of the beverage is quite good, especially the hand-picked Jinwu, which has a refreshing combination that is a delight. The unsweetened tea has no astringency, and the tea jelly is not overly sweet.

The atmosphere in the store is relaxed, and even on weekends it is not too crowded, making it a suitable place to enjoy drinks casually.

Due to it being a solo operation, multiple drinks will take longer to prepare.

I happened to visit the area with a friend and wanted to grab a drink. I heard this place was pretty good, so we decided to buy something. It's not far from the Taoyuan Arts and Resources Area, and across the street is a junior high school. There’s also a branch in Taipei's Xinyi District. We casually ordered the following:

▪️Hand-picked Jin Xuan Oolong $40, served at room temperature without sugar (add tea jelly for $10).
It's basically Jin Xuan Oolong, which is one of the shop's signature drinks. I ordered it without sugar to avoid being too boring, and I heard the tea jelly is made from winter melon tea, so I gave it a try. The tea jelly isn't too sweet, and it pairs perfectly with the unsweetened tea. Although the tea is unsweetened, it doesn't have an astringent taste; overall, the combination is refreshing and quenching.

▪️Dodo Lemon $55, less ice and one part sugar.
After taking a sip, even with just one part sugar, it isn’t overly sour. However, this item wouldn’t normally be on my list, so I won’t comment on it further.

Overall, it’s a solid drink shop. Although there weren’t many people on that weekend, the service was by one person, so waiting for multiple orders might take a bit longer. Upon checking, I found out they have won awards at the Taiwanese Milk Tea Festival, but unfortunately, we didn’t try any milk tea series. 😆
