Located in the bustling Beichen Market,
Ah Feng's business has always been great.
The Vietnamese lady in the photo (on the left) is Ah Feng,
who has been deeply rooted in Penghu for many years.
Her husband and son often help out at the shop.

So far, based on personal preference and value for money, I've tried the following in order:

1. French Baguette
2. Braised Beef Rice Noodles
3. Cold Noodles
4. Papaya Chicken Salad
5. Beef Rice Noodles

Recently, I've been loving the #BraisedBeefRiceNoodles,
served with Vietnamese chili peppers, which are both spicy and appetizing.
Most of my friends who eat rice noodles don't use Thai basil or lime,
so I always add their basil and lime in.
The flavor becomes fresher and more layered. 👍🏻
The rice noodles are cooked just right, with a bit of chewiness,
and the beef shoulder chunks are very tender.
Paired with the highly flavorful red and white radishes, I really love it!
Even those who don't like red radishes can enjoy it immensely. 🤭

#BeefRiceNoodles is quite ordinary yet classic,
belonging to a refreshing type of soup rice noodles.
In my opinion, the value for money at nearby
Xiang He Snacks or A Lian Vietnamese Snacks is better.

By the way, I'd like to recommend my personal favorite, the #FrenchBaguette,
made with bread from the Golden Bakery.
After being reheated, the crispy outer skin is perfect,
paired with Vietnamese canned ham and meatballs, it's seriously delicious.
If you're daring enough, you can add Vietnamese chili sauce,
it’s fiery but super appetizing. 🩷🩷

Open from morning until night,
sometimes when I spend too much time at the market
and don’t want to cook lunch, I just go to Ah Feng's! 😋
