現場有多個爐子在烤餅,雖然排隊人龍長,但等候時間不長,店員效率高,能快速滿足顧客需求。

It's been so, so many years since I last had a pepper bun. During a business trip, I accompanied a colleague to Taipei. We arrived at Raohe Street Night Market, which is full of foreign tourists. It’s been so many years since I last came here; I think the last time was in college, about 8 or 9 years ago 🥹🥹
So many of the stalls at the night market have changed. The only thing that hasn't changed is the Shengzu Pepper Bun at the entrance. I love the crispy, chewy old dough skin. It's stuck in the oven and is hot, crispy, and juicy 🩷🩷 The first bite brings back so many memories. Fresh and steaming hot food really deserves over 100 points.
With a bite, you get perfectly balanced fatty and lean pork. The marinated meat is very fragrant, paired with fresh green onions. There’s a subtle peppery aroma with a hint of spiciness at the end. It’s very flavorful and appetizing; you can’t help but want a second one.
In addition to Raohe Street, there are branches at other locations. After a few years, one bun now costs $60. The portion hasn’t changed much, just slightly resistant to inflation, which is still acceptable.
There were 2 to 3 ovens baking buns on-site, and many people were making pepper buns. Although the line was long, the wait wasn’t that long. I kind of regret only buying one. This pepper bun is truly unforgettable and so delightful 😆💕😝
This time I came to the "Fuzhou Shizu Pepper Cake" located at the first stall of Raohe Night Market.
