The small noodle stall next to the daily market is my family’s favorite noodle shop.
What the boss sells is also very simple. He boils a large pot of marinade including noodle marinade, fried tofu, fish balls and braised eggs. He then adds the noodles or rice noodles. The wontons are also freshly made in-house.
Yangchun noodles taste like ancient times, with bean sprouts, leeks, scallions and crispy fried scallions. I like to eat it with black vinegar.
The braised eggs and fried tofu are pretty good. The fish balls have a special texture, but are relatively expensive. I don’t recommend ordering them unless you want to try something new.
