The busiest intersection of Guangzhou Street in Wanhua Longshan Temple is always bustling with people. Nine Days Coffee stands among the bustling stalls, storefronts and busy traffic.

Although it is at an intersection, the sign is not very conspicuous, and there is no real internal space. There is only a window that looks like a train ticket office where you can order food. The two clerks inside the window rub shoulders with each other in a space of one square meter. Ordering food and making coffee is a bit cramped.

In contrast to the ordering window, the tables and chairs placed on the arcade were all full of people. There were uncles who were smoking and watching the people passing by on the road to kill time, and there were also residents who came in pairs to chat about home affairs.

The corner next to an arcade column was given to an older uncle to carve keys. The key casting table on the table and the dusty cafe decorations on the pillars formed a small corner that seemed frozen in time. This cafe, hidden in the noisy corner of the street, seems to contain a microcosm of the entire Wanhua Old Town.

Although the store is small, the coffee items are filled with two menus. One is the regular coffee items, and the other is limited-time hand-brewed items.

I ordered a cup of classic hot latte and took a short rest in the seating area of ​​the arcade. It's not that the people here are unfriendly, but there's a sense that I'm being seen through, that I'm not completely relaxed enough to enjoy the atmosphere and coffee. Indeed, I still have things to finish later, so I am not in a completely relaxed state at the moment. So I took the latte and got up and left.

In the end, I was able to really taste this cup of coffee until I finished my work. The hot latte was only warm and tasted astringent. I didn't get the aroma of milk. Maybe this store told me that I wasn't ready yet, but I feel like it's giving me an opportunity. So I secretly look forward to being able to blend in in the most comfortable state next time I go there.
