The red bean dorayaki from Yamazaki Bread is quite well-received. The red bean paste is of good quality but a bit sweet, and the pancake skin is slightly dry and hard. However, the overall pastry performs well.
On this day, I happened to have something to do near Taipei Station, but because I was in a hurry, I didn't specifically buy breakfast. However, I unexpectedly saw a familiar face: Yamazaki Bakery. I quickly stopped to see if they had anything I usually eat.
This Yamazaki Bakery looked quite new; it might have just opened recently. Luckily, the familiar items I usually get were still there, so I just grabbed a red bean dorayaki and went to pay.
Yamazaki Bakery's red bean dorayaki is quite decent. The red bean filling is good, but it was a bit sweet. As for the pancake skin, since it wasn't made fresh, I can't ask for too much. However, it would be better if it could be made a little softer.
Overall, I think the pastries at Yamazaki Bakery are quite good. I consider myself a regular customer and recommend everyone to give it a try.
