The family said that after exiting Ikebukuro Station, the well-known sandwich shop in the nearby Lumine department store was the first stop on the first day's itinerary!

The department store opens at 11:00, but there were already people waiting outside before that. Although there were plenty of seats and the space was spacious, it was fully booked shortly after opening.

All five of us ordered a set meal that includes one sandwich, one drink, and half a slice of cake.

The portion was quite large. The cheese and ham sandwich I ordered had two slices of toast, while others ordered a thick whole slice of toast. Despite this variety, we all felt stuffed... even the salad portion was generous.

The overall flavor was on the salty side, making it hard to eat without water; the combination of cheese and ham was too strong, and eating two pieces was really rich. However, the toast was perfectly crispy and delicious, and the salad dressing was appetizingly generous.

The photo looks a bit messy because it was "half a slice of one piece," a bit less than the usual size XD.

It looks ordinary but is very tasty, with a particularly smooth texture that doesn't taste like typical cheesecake. The flavor is not too sweet, and the crust isn't too hard. It's really impressive, and the alcohol-infused cream on top is the finishing touch, making the whole piece of cake significantly better!

The cake was delicious! It’s a chain brunch spot with several locations in Japan, and if possible, I would have taken an entire cake home. As for the overly salty sandwich, I'll skip that...
