❤️ Because last time I didn’t see the train arrive at the station, I chose to come again to eat at Genki Sushi in the evening. Every post has actual dining photos, even if it’s just a picture of a drink, to prevent some users from pretending they actually dined without food pictures. Overall rating: 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

📍 This place is right on the busy Nathan Road in Mong Kok, and the Bank Centre Plaza provides restrooms, with many seats available for dining inside. 🚗 I recommend taking the subway to the E2 exit at Mong Kok Station; it’s about a one-minute walk after exiting (you need to take the escalator to the 1st floor, which means Taiwan's second floor).

💬 Last time at the branch in Central Station, I didn’t get to sit in the area where you can experience the train arriving, and my companions wanted to eat here again. This time, we surely could experience it (how old were the kids with us, anyway?).

Genki Sushi, which has no branches in Taiwan, can be found everywhere in Hong Kong, and that huge sign seems to attract customers like a black hole.

However, when we picked up the number card for dinner quite late (around 9 PM), we still had to wait about 10-15 minutes to be seated. There are really a lot of people in Mong Kok...

The ordering process is still very simple; just scan the QR code on the table, and the food will be delivered to you on the train. I truly think that not having to communicate with staff in Hong Kong is a wonderful experience, and I welcome everyone to come to Hong Kong to try it out (laughs).

This time, the light above me finally had a normal color temperature, and luckily I managed to take a normal photo before returning to Hong Kong to share with my friends.

Overall, everything was still very fresh; since we had already eaten a lot during the last visit, we didn’t order too many shellfish options, mostly choosing the discounted sushi sets (my wallet is shrinking). This time, I also collected a lot of funny sushi plate jokes; they come in various colors. Although it’s in Cantonese, you can somewhat tell what it means (you could also look at the original Japanese version).

In the end, there was an awkward point: because the restaurant does not rush customers, it’s fine to dine in for several hours without any problems—unlike in Taiwan where there are dining time limits (staff would come out to tell customers they’ve reached the limit). So this might explain why there was still a wait to be seated in the evening...
