The braised pork and milkfish ball soup received good reviews; the soup's flavor is nice, and the balls are soft and satisfying. However, the braised chicken rice has grains that are a bit broken and carry an off taste, and the shredded chicken is somewhat dry.
What I ate this time:
Braised chicken rice (medium) $45
Milkfish ball soup $40
Overall dining impression:
The rice was very crumbly and had a peculiar taste. The shredded chicken was a bit dry and lacked flavor. The braised pork was actually delicious, but the rice was not good, which brought it down.
The milkfish ball soup was quite nice; the balls were on the softer side, much better than the rice.
There are other bento options available, and I might consider this place when I want soup.
