#Penghu #YuanYuanFoodDiary
This is my second time dining here, and I've noticed that the menu has expanded quite a bit.
There are many tourists in the restaurant,
but little do they know, all the seafood here
is actually imported or from the main island 🥹🥹

I arrived for lunch around 1:00 PM.
The other customers’ meals came out fairly quickly,
but since everything is made to order, we had to wait a long time...
The last dish, stir-fried seasonal vegetables, arrived at 1:48 PM...
We had already finished the other dishes by then 😭😭

#Seafood Stir-fried Udon
The taste is quite different from what I had when I took it to go before.
This time, the flavor is on the lighter side, lacking the wok taste.
The udon noodles were overcooked, lacking the chewy texture.
The shrimp is obviously frozen, which was disappointing.

#Chawanmushi (Savory Egg Custard)
Aside from the sweet flavor of the white shrimp on top,
the other ingredients include a small piece of fish cake
and a large clam with not much substance, feeling a bit empty.

#Grilled Mushrooms
Two tiny mushrooms with no sauce, overall rather dry.
I found this quite surprising and disappointing 😢

#Fried Durian
The overall flavor and seasoning are perfectly done.
One piece cut in half costs 80 NT$, which is a bit pricey.

#Stir-fried Seasonal Vegetables
Baby cabbage stir-fried with shredded ginger.
Overall, the flavor is quite good, and considering the price and portion, it's a great value.

The overall dining experience and taste are pretty similar to my first visit~
It's not a place I would visit often, but with the variety of dishes and options,
I could still come here occasionally to satisfy my cravings!

As for those wanting to eat Japanese skewers,
I recommend “Yaki-Bu-Tei,” which is not far away.
The quality of the dishes is much better than that of the Iwate Japanese-style skewers shop.
