This restaurant is so delicious that I'm really worried; if I recommend it, I might not be able to make a reservation later… But what's special is that this restaurant is actually located near Mount Fuji, so if you're planning to visit the area, it's best to book a table in advance! I didn’t dare to book because I knew I would be playing around Mount Fuji but wasn’t sure if I could make it there for dinner; I ended up waiting on-site for almost an hour! But when I finally got the food, I truly felt that all the waiting was worth it… I just wish the couple working inside could move a bit faster 😅

Today we ordered two slightly different eel rice dishes, one of which had added salmon roe ❤️ and a raw egg 🥚. The other one was just eel! The flavors of both dishes weren’t too different; the one with salmon roe had a slightly stronger fish flavor. However, what I found very special was that it was my first time eating eel rice with a kind of soup they paired it with 🥣. I didn’t expect that the eel rice would become eel porridge when combined with the soup, and it had a subtle, fragrant yuzu aroma. The taste was incredibly refreshing and delicious! This was my first time trying this way of eating, and I will always remember it! The overall aroma of the eel was also very captivating, and even just eating the eel by itself, combined with their slightly salty and sweet sauce, tasted amazing!

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant, not only because their service is excellent but, more importantly, because the food is genuinely high quality. Every bite will be etched in your memory, so I highly recommend everyone visiting Mount Fuji to give it a try! But I’ll say it again: it’s very advisable to make a reservation; otherwise, there are only nine seats at the restaurant, and if it happens to be full, you’ll have to wait for a while!
