Their cake crust is probably one of the best among the big cake shops that I have ever tasted! The crust is rich and crispy. You can smell the rich creamy aroma when you enter the store! very nice!
-Yuanyang Cake-The outer layer is great, the bottom is slightly hard and crispy, and it also has a creamy aroma. I believe their egg yolk puff pastry will also taste delicious! Their fillings are well mixed in the middle. There is a salted egg yolk in the middle, which is slightly salty, not too dry but not too moist either. The mochi part is relatively thin and has a stretchy feel. The red bean paste has a fine texture and is not that sweet, about three to four points. The meat floss is slightly sweet and moist and tastes like a ball. I like how their crust and fillings blend together.
-Wu Ren Nuts-the skin is good and has a crispy flour flavor! And very solid! In addition to nuts, it is paired with coconut milk pastry, so the texture is more solid milk pastry rather than bean paste. The nuts inside are candied and roasted first, so they retain their crispiness and are more fragrant! There are walnuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, and pine nuts in it. The pine nuts inside are small and not noticeable. Pumpkin seeds are full of flavor. The almonds are made from almond slices rather than almond nuts, so the taste is not obvious. However, the overall sweetness of the combination is about four to five points, but not greasy.
