The sweet potato balls have a rich flavor and a soft, chewy texture. The duck gizzards are flavorful but on the tougher side. The duck hearts are seasoned just right, with a bouncy texture, making them a great pairing with drinks. Overall, the taste of the food is satisfying.
Located in Luodong Night Market, the environment is clean, and the signage is prominent and easy to find. It offers a pleasant night market dining experience.
The boss lady is warm and skilled at interacting with guests, filled with a sense of humanity, making people feel the warmth and professionalism of Yilan.
"Thank you, Peng Peng, for posting first so I could easily find the store," says me, who was too lazy to look for it.

Sweet potato balls +4⭐️
I personally love the sweet potato balls from Dongshan Duck Head. The flavor is strong, and they're not too hard; instead, they're on the softer, chewy side, exceeding my expectations of Dongshan Duck Head (I've eaten too little).
Duck gizzards +3⭐️
The duck gizzards are also very flavorful, but the texture is a bit tough, which can make your mouth sore when biting into them 🫠.
Duck hearts +3.5⭐️
The seasoning looks the same, not overly salty. I actually feel like it would pair well with alcohol. The texture is chewy, but compared to grilled ones, they are still a bit tough 🤣.

+4⭐️
The boss lady is very enthusiastic in her introduction, showing a lot of warmth, and she interacts well with the customers. At least I saw her engaging with friends non-stop 😂.

+3.5⭐️
Located inside the Luodong Night Market, it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk from the entrance. The environment is relatively clean for a night market, and the sign is very noticeable, so you can see it at a glance.

I don't like staple foods, but I can eat snacks!
#Fourth meal working in Yilan: Dongshan duck head. It's hard to find delicious food in Taipei! 🤤
Dishes:
Duck joints, delicious! The braised sauce penetrated perfectly into the joints; the gelatinous texture mixed with the sauce made me keep wanting more. The boss said this is only available in Yilan! I should have bought an extra portion!
Duck skin was average; mainly, there were too many feather roots affecting the texture… The boss said this is only available in Yilan! I’ll buy it!
Duck hearts are bigger than chicken hearts, still bouncy and not bad to eat. XD
I forgot if I had duck gizzards; I'll skip that.
Rice blood cake has a black, braised outer skin, and tastes infused with duck meat sauce. The texture is quite moist and soft, paired with sweet glutinous rice. (I don't know if it's duck blood cake or pork blood cake.)
Sweet potato balls, my love! How does it taste after being braised in Dongshan duck head sauce! XD
I can eat any sweet potato balls, and this one is definitely no exception, so I’ll just mention it briefly!
Environment:
In a night market, but overall it looks very clean outside.
Service:
The boss introduced the dishes very earnestly, humorously telling me that it's something you can’t find in Taipei. I agree :)
Impressions:
Since it was takeout, I couldn't take a proper photo of the food. I did my best to look at it, but aside from the sweet potato balls being light-colored, everything else was black and indistinguishable, so I skipped taking a photo. Let me say, my first time eating Dongshan duck head was sweet, so when I tasted the slightly salty flavor of Yilan's Dongshan duck head, my mind was still thinking if I had simply eaten too little and had limited my taste preferences.
