AI Spot Summary

The dishes at the restaurant are generally fresh, but the seasoning and cooking methods seem to fall short of individual tastes, especially the performance of the squid ink fried rice and lobster, which is relatively mediocre.

-Sashimi - two kinds, not much but fresh

  • Chestnut and Truffle Matsusaka Chicken - The outer layer of the chicken is coated with flour, and it tastes chewy. My friend doesn't like this texture. It doesn't feel like eating chicken, but rather tastes like frog meat. The sauce has a light truffle flavor and creamy aroma, which I personally think is good, and the side dishes are quite satisfactory.
  • Fried rice with squid ink $250 - I originally wrote that the fried rice would be dry, but in fact it is more like stewed rice. The rice is soggy and soft. I personally feel that the squid ink is not enough to have the umami and salty flavor of seafood, but my friend thinks it is salty enough.
  • Lobster - Cream - I chose 14 taels of lobster this time, and there was quite a lot of shrimp meat. The stir-frying method with butter has a Taiwanese-style feel, and the taste is a bit heavy and greasy. The lobster meat itself has no special taste, but the texture is full of elasticity. Personally, I can’t quite taste the deliciousness of lobster.
-Seafood Pumpkin Rice Noodles-Pumpkin full of flavor
-Ta Xiang Matsu Mussels - Mussels are fat but don’t have their own sweet taste. Ta Xiang is salty and ordinary.
  • Bean curd mushroom spinach - average
-Penghu dried cauliflower-with a bit of sourness that relieves greasiness
  • Squid and conch meat and garlic soup - the conch meat is very sweet, the squid is also good to bite, and the whole soup also has a little truffle aroma. It has a bit of a Brazilian mushroom feel, overall very refreshing and delicious, probably the first one today.
  • Horse dung sea urchin smooth egg $380 - The egg part is relatively solid and not so juicey that it doesn’t taste like sea urchin, but it doesn’t smell fishy either, so it’s pretty good.

The overall dining experience is that the ingredients used are good, but the cooking methods and seasonings may not be to my personal taste, so the chance of revisiting is low.
