This restaurant in Banqiao is a well-known all-you-can-eat hot pot place. The dining time is two hours, and there is a partnered parking lot nearby. It is close to the Banshan MRT Station on the circular line.
The dining style is individual pots where each person cooks for themselves. After being seated, you will first order your preferences. You can choose the soup base according to personal preference, which is really great. There are a total of ten soup base flavors; I chose garlic Mongolian hot pot. Although it is not very strong in flavor, it tastes good even without dipping sauce.
Next, you take a large plate from the table to get vegetables and hot pot ingredients. The ingredients are divided into two floors, with more options on the first floor. There are meat platters in the refrigerator on the second floor, as well as dedicated staff on the first floor to serve meat.
The cooked food area (ready to eat) is mainly on the first floor. It includes stir-fried dishes, sushi, hand rolls, barbecue, steamed items, fried food, cold small dishes, and salad, as well as popcorn.
Beverages and desserts (some are also on the second floor, but it’s suggested to take a stroll around the first floor first) include fruits, self-serve soft serve ice cream, tub packaged ice cream, various brands of popsicles, small cakes, shaved ice, bubble tea, pudding, Chinese douhua, cotton candy... and more.
The vegetables served that day were all cleaned very well. Recommended meat: lamb (reconstituted meat needs to be cooked thoroughly) and marbled pork. Recommended seafood: shrimp, small octopus, and squid paste.
Due to not wanting to fill up too much, I didn’t eat sushi, hand rolls, steamed items, fried food, or bubble tea. What I remember and recommend the most are: "fish skin," which looks hard but is very soft and slightly sour; "black pepper beef," which is quite salty and the beef brisket is fragrant, suitable to pair with rice; "mackerel," in the barbecue section, has no bones and reportedly salmon is also delicious; and the "shaved ice," with toppings that are quite sweet! It rivals outside ice shops.
I usually take a little bit at a time and go back for more of the good stuff. There are many fresh items, and it’s impossible to try them all. Everyone should take a small amount multiple times; don’t waste food (there will be additional charges). The staff also frequently come by to clear the plates, keeping the table tidy. The above is for your reference.
