The atmosphere is comfortable; it's been open for over ten years. The park is super large, with a lot of animals and plenty of seating. There are three types of vegetarian hot pot available. Before entering the park, there's a rooster, and the reception has a very elegant and cute shop cat. 😻

I ordered the freshly harvested tomato hot pot for $380, which is ordinary but filling. The meal comes with juice that leans on the sweeter side, which I like! The honey pancakes for $180 were not what I expected, so I didn't enjoy them. 🤣

The park has a lot of hammocks, swings, and a children's play area, so you can easily find a spot to enjoy the night view. 🌃 There’s also a live singer, allowing you to relax here from the afternoon until evening.

Located beside the famous County Route 139 in the Monkey Spring area of Nantou City, it's quite crowded with tourists on weekends. Usually, you have to park outside and walk a bit to reach the Starry Moon Sky Restaurant. The store mentioned that their external parking is free; if there are any charges, it's not theirs, so be careful. Looking at the map, it seems like a mountainous area, but the actual drive isn't too difficult.

It's rare to visit on a weekday and actually find parking close to the restaurant without needing to walk a distance. There's a toll booth at the entrance of the park. The admission fee is $150 on weekdays and $200 on weekends, which can be deducted from food costs ($50); dining time is limited to 90 minutes. There are many small animals in the park, like geese, llamas, pigeons, chickens, and horses. There are also scheduled animal shows, slides, pools, and grassy areas, making it very suitable for bringing kids to play. After sunset, it offers a different view; you can sit outdoors and enjoy a nighttime meal, though it was a bit foggy today, so not much could be seen.

The variety of dishes is quite rich, and the soup base is decent. It seems that the quantity of meat slices has increased compared to before. The rice and soup are self-serve. The meat slices are cut a bit thin, which makes it feel somewhat sparse—after all, it is a scenic restaurant! I don't hold too high expectations for the food, since the ambiance is what matters, but the food isn't too bad, and the prices aren't outrageous. The included juice comes with a drink bag that you can take home.

I had been here before, but I don't recall there being this many animals last time. When I first arrived, I even saw staff herding sheep, reminiscent of a scene from an animal migration. I highly recommend bringing kids here to learn about animals if you get the chance.
