Because this restaurant's name is the same as the Lan Tian Pork Cutlet Handmade Shop in the city, I was curious and asked the owner. I was surprised to learn that the city shop was actually opened later by his brother, meaning that Lan Tian Handmade Japanese Pork Cutlet originally originated in Zhiben and later moved to Taitung City, continuing the popularity of fried pork cutlets.

Although the original Zhiben restaurant doesn’t have the same level of recognition as the city location, there are still customers who come here to dine consistently. This time, we ordered fried rice and beef rice bowl. The fried rice was well-separated and full of aroma, not skimped on, and the portion was very generous, so there’s no need to worry about not being full. The amount of meat and vegetables in the beef rice bowl was also relatively more than at other restaurants, and the price was reasonable, making it a very friendly option. The side dishes included not only pickled vegetables but also pickled radish, cauliflower, etc., which contribute to a balanced and healthy diet.

The dining space is very spacious, transformed from a home living room, so it feels quite cozy, giving a sense of dining at home. The owner and the owner's wife are kind and friendly, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere. Overall, the dining experience is enjoyable and recommended.
