林家肉燥飯的餐點中規中矩,肉燥飯常溫上菜讓人略感失望,魚湯和青菜表現普通,煎魚皮則是少數亮點。若能注意食物溫度,將更符合期待。
Located on Yongda Road Section 2 in Yongkang, "Lin Family Braised Pork Rice" can be considered a place that offers homestyle flavors, suitable for those looking for affordable and simple meal options in their daily lives. Since the restaurant's name includes "braised pork rice," it must be a must-order dish, right? However, during this visit, I found that the braised pork rice was served at room temperature, which made the entire meal less hot and somewhat unsatisfactory. Especially when you're anticipating a steaming bowl of braised pork rice, being served something at room temperature is quite disappointing 😆. Moreover, the room temperature gives an impression of not being fresh.
The fish soup and vegetables were quite ordinary, falling into the category of generic home-cooked flavors, lacking any significant surprise but not disappointing either. As for the braised pork with fried dough sticks, I initially thought it might be a specialty of the restaurant, but it turned out to be just regular room temperature braised pork on fried dough sticks, which was nothing special and actually made me feel that this dish was not necessary to order.
However, the crispy fish skin was one of the few highlights, with a nice crunchy texture that added some points. Overall, the dishes at this restaurant were quite standard, and if they could pay a bit more attention to the temperature, it would better meet expectations.
