This time I ordered the roasted oolong, still going with the no sugar, light ice approach. Although it’s my first time buying it outside of Taipei, this branch seems to have less ice than what I expected for light ice, more like a small ice portion.
Compared to other branches, the roasted oolong here has a lighter tea flavor, and later on, when I bought roasted oolong from other branches, the flavor was noticeably stronger. I wonder if it has to do with the ice amount.

Overall, De Zheng is still quite drinkable, but the quality may not be consistent across different branches. 😒

Compared to other beverage shops, the selection is smaller, which can reduce choice paralysis. 😂 But if I want to have milk foam, this is the first place that comes to mind. The quality is consistently stable across different shops at any time.

Spring Oolong, unsweetened, less ice. It tastes similar to the green tea from other places. If you want to drink green tea, you can order this. It doesn’t taste bitter when unsweetened.

Milk foam spring Oolong, lightly sweetened, less ice. The milk foam series is always served with less ice (small drawback). The milk foam is a salty type, which makes it not too rich or heavy.
