This snack bar is located in an alley near Taipei Station. It mainly sells rice bowls and fried udon noodles. It feels like Taiwanese-style Japanese food. The space inside the store seems a bit dark, so I just take it out.
Japanese pork sukiyaki rice bowl $80
In fact, it is the way of parent-child donburi, but the chicken is changed into pork slices, including meat, eggs, onions, etc. What is more surprising is that cabbage is added, and the rice donburi is sprinkled with seaweed powder. When I open the lid, I feel it is quite fragrant.
The eggs are well cooked, the meat slices are quite generous, and the seasoning is okay.
Originally, because this donburi was super cheap, I didn’t have any expectations. I thought it would be a rough meal, but it turned out to be surprisingly okay.
Overall, although the taste of the food is not exquisite, it is acceptable at this price. I will consider visiting again when I want to have a cheap meal in the future.
