In fact, PRESS BUTTER SAND is also available in Taiwan, but the price in Taiwan is very expensive. Although it is not much cheaper to buy it in Japan, you can buy it and eat it if it is cheaper.

This branch has the Hakata-limited flavor - Fukuoka Strawberry Sweet King limited flavor. It is also one of the few branches that sells freshly baked biscuits. However, we came here around 7pm today, so there are no freshly baked ones. Besides, I only want the classic original flavor. So I didn’t buy any strawberries, sorry to all the customers 😂

From the store to the product packaging, even the paper bags are all designed with high quality. The classic original flavor comes in a gray packaging box, while the strawberry flavor comes in a pink outer box. It is very elegant to buy it as a souvenir.

I bought a box of original flavor 9 pieces for ¥1944, which is about NT$405 when converted to Taiwan dollars. 1 piece of biscuits is about NT$45, which is a little expensive, but still acceptable (especially when you see the prices in Taiwan)

The outer skin is hard and crispy, but my first impression before eating the filling was that it was a little dry; the filling is caramel and cream, and the two blend together, eliminating the dryness of eating the outer skin alone. After eating the whole cookie, it will feel a little sweet.

Overall, I think it's delicious, but not to the point where it's amazing, or to the extent that when I go back to Taiwan, I'd be itching to go back to Japan to buy it. I personally think it's OK to buy some to try, after all, the price is too low. It’s not cheap, and I recommend eating it with tea (I didn’t have any water or drinks on hand when I was eating, so I felt a little thirsty)
