The hot cocoa provided by the restaurant is very thoughtful, especially with the added whipped cream and chocolate sauce. While it's quite pleasant to drink, it has a higher sugar content compared to unsweetened beverages in Taiwan, which might not be suitable for friends who are used to no sugar.
The restaurant still has customers dining later in the evening, creating a comfortable and warm atmosphere that makes people want to stop and relax.
The staff is very attentive and is able to flexibly accommodate the guests' needs beyond the menu, making one feel at home.
We passed by this restaurant quite late and originally wanted to find a place to have a drink. Seeing that there were still people dining inside, we decided to give it a try.
Maybe because the weather was too cold, we changed our mind about having a drink after sitting down and felt it wasn't the right time to have coffee, so we asked if they had hot cocoa aside from the menu. To our surprise, the staff were very thoughtful; they not only made us hot cocoa on the spot but also added whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. Although I emphasized whether they had chocolate without sugar 🍫, perhaps for them, this amount of sugar isn't very sweet. Personally, I felt that while it was very comforting to drink it hot, the sweetness was still a bit high. Compared to the desserts sold outside, it's definitely much better, but for friends who usually drink unsweetened beverages in Taiwan, it might take some getting used to!
I didn't try any other dishes, and I hope those who pass by can give it a try and share their experiences with me!
