On a business trip to Chishang, I unexpectedly encountered the local night market. The size of the night market isn’t large, but there are still a variety of food options available. Classic offerings include fried chicken, fruit juice, pan-fried dumplings, oyster omelettes, and East Mountain duck heads, among others. The oyster omelette is a must-try dish for me wherever I go.
At this particular oyster omelette stall, the quantity of oysters provided was just right—not too many and not too few. The batter was cooked to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and it was complemented by an egg. However, perhaps due to the oysters not being from the local area, it was difficult to taste the freshness and sweetness of the oysters commonly found at western ports. The sauce was the usual sweet sauce, so there wasn't anything particularly memorable about it, but it wasn't bad either—still worth a try.
There are seating areas near the stalls, so there's no need to worry about having to stand while you eat.
