Tteokbokki shop near Mapo Station 🇰🇷

The line outside is for takeout, while you can sit down inside right away. The menu is very simple - tteokbokki, blood sausage, kimbap, fish cake, and some fried items.

The rice cakes are thick and large, with a chewy texture that pairs perfectly with the thick sauce – spicy and sweet, definitely addictive and very tasty! This is my second visit, but this time I could only eat tteokbokki by myself 🥹. The kimbap is also very delicious; it’s even better when dipped in the tteokbokki sauce.

You can get really full for just 3000 won, and after eating, you can head to the nearby Fritz Coffee Company for some coffee. 👍

This is what real spicy rice cake feels like!

There are many people working inside and outside the restaurant, and they are basically all Koreans. As soon as tourists arrive, they can walk in directly to see if there are seats inside. There is no need to stand outside in line together~

A portion costs 3,000 won (super cheap), super large and super soft. Many in Taiwan are still very hard in the middle, but Yuanzu spicy fried rice cake is not at all, and it is still very chewy! But it’s really spicy, completely different from Taiwan’s sweet taste. The more I eat it, the more addictive it becomes. This time the three of us ordered two portions!

The fish plate in the fish plate soup is super delicious! ! The soup is also delicious ~ it must be paired with spicy fried rice cake!

There are also blood sausages and black sausages in the store, but I didn’t want to eat them so I didn’t order them. Remember, the prices are very cheap!
