Under a classmate's recommendation, I came to this brunch place! I was attracted by their French toast and it’s a friendly spot for late risers on weekends (open until 4 PM).

The location is a bit tucked away, in a small alley next to Longshan Temple. I walked here with my friend, but for motorbikes and cars, you might need to park outside the alley.

The decor is very minimalist and fresh. The space on the first floor is smaller, while the second floor is more spacious with more seating. When we entered, there was no waiting time! This might be because we went around 1:30 PM on a Sunday, just in time to avoid the peak crowd.

The menu has many hand-drawn dishes, super cute!

🌻 Salt and Pepper Pork French Toast Platter $330

Delicious, highly recommended!
The portion is huge, I really felt full with my small appetite!
The variety of dishes is well-balanced, but the fries provided are sweet potato fries (I’m totally a regular potato fries person...).

The French toast isn’t overly sweet, and the texture is just right, definitely passable! Overall, the platter is a hit!

What my friend had:

🌻 Spiced Chicken Breast French Toast Platter $280

The portion of chicken breast was also generous. My friend also recommends it (he really loves French toast) and mentioned he would like to come back again XD.

🌻 Basque Cheesecake $100

I thought it was delicious, but my friend prefers drier Basque cheesecake. It has a dense and moist texture, and the burnt caramel on top adds a nice crispy contrast. If you enjoy this type of Basque cheesecake, you should give it a try!

The prices are within the average range for brunch, but the portions are really quite large for me, and I personally find it quite economical and worthwhile! I would love to recommend it to friends or come back again!
