The Ghost Craftsman Ramen is a chain restaurant, and I have dined at other branches before. This is my first time dining at this university location. What makes it a bit special is that it is paired with Jishetian Curry Rice, which means that compared to other branches, the offerings here are relatively rich. The dining space does not have many seats, so I feel the space is a bit cramped. However, the good part is that you can get free rice refills for dine-in meals.

Today we ordered Fried Chicken Curry Rice, Garlic Pork Bone Ramen, and Original Pork Bone Ramen.

The fried chicken was a bit different from what I expected; the chicken is in slices rather than chunks. The texture is quite good—not too dry—but the portion seems a bit small, making it feel somewhat lacking when bitten into. 😅 The curry itself has a decent flavor, leaning towards sweetness and not spicy, which kids would like. The accompanying vegetable soup was quite bland, so next time, I will choose iced tea instead.

As for the ramen, the pork bone flavor isn't very strong, but it might be catering to Taiwanese tastes for ramen. The noodles have a moderate texture, retaining that chewy feel typical of ramen. The char siu (braised pork) is average with no standout features, but it’s not bad.

Overall, it’s budget-friendly ramen. The flavor is acceptable, and it’s easy to fill up, but you shouldn't expect too much in terms of ingredient quality and uniqueness.

Garlic Pork Bone Ramen ($130)

First time having shrimp ramen. A different tasting broth compared to the local prawn mee/hokkien mee. Love the option of deshelling your prawn. The chicken broth was nice as well. You can add on chili oil for extra flavor. Service was fast and even gave my son a small ballon when leaving. Price is expensive, especially for the drinks. A good place to come to if you want to try a different kind of ramen
