松柏嶺阿香香腸+米腸

Today on my way home, I passed by Songbailing and thought I would try the famous chicken feet, but upon arriving at the location, I found out that the shop was closed, which was a bit disappointing. However, on the way back, we passed by a stall selling "big sausage wrapped small sausage" that had many good reviews, and my family decided to try that instead.

Even before getting close to the stall, we were already drawn in by the enticing aroma of charcoal grilling, which really made our mouths water.

I'm not sure if the locals think that's expensive, but the toppings were really generous!
It came with pickled cabbage, ginger slices, cucumber, and preserved radish (if you don't want them, you have to tell the owner in advance). I think the variety is very rich (although I don't dare to eat ginger, so I picked it out by hand 🤣).
This time, we ordered one that's not spicy for myself and another that’s "super extremely spicy" for my family members who can handle the heat. The internet says this place's spicy version is extremely spicy, and indeed my family was sweating while enjoying it 🥵.

The non-spicy version I had was also excellent; the rice sausage was grilled to a slight crispiness but not dry, while the sausage was moderately fatty. Together, they had just the right texture, and combined with the refreshing toppings, it was absolutely delicious without being heavy at all.

We also ordered a chicken roll (NT$35).
The outer skin was very crispy; although it was slightly oily, it was bursting with flavor when you bit into it. The filling was not dry at all and was juicy, so it performed quite well.

Overall, this little stall unexpectedly soothed my small regret of not having the chicken feet. It's the kind of local delicacy that you'd want to revisit if you pass by again.
