Whether the shaved noodles are chewy enough or not really shows the skill of the store owner! I accidentally ate a delicious noodles for lunch today. Every bite felt quite chewy!
This "Zhouji Handmade Noodles" is located in the city market, about 10 minutes' walk from Ximen Station, Taipei Main Station, and National Taiwan University MRT Station.
The lunch time on weekdays can be said to be bustling with people. Seeing the crowds at the entrance and inside, I wanted to give up. Fortunately, because the store prepares meals very quickly, the table turnover rate is also very high, so I just had to wait for a long time. There will be a seat in 5 minutes
ps. If you want to eat inside, just go to the store and find a seat by yourself, and then order verbally with the clerk (we originally wanted to use the menu to order, but the clerk hurriedly stopped us and said, "Just order!")
This place mainly sells noodles and various soups. The noodle section includes soup noodles and dry noodles. The options are quite diverse. I feel like I won’t get tired of eating them twice a week.
The noodles are divided into large and small bowls. According to our dining experience this time, a small bowl is enough for girls with normal appetites. The portion is not small!
Pork fried noodles (small) $90
The noodles here are all hand-cut, not too thick, and just wide enough to fit in your mouth. The texture is chewy and chewy, and the softness and hardness are just right. You can taste the aroma of flour~
The pork fried noodles should be stir-fried with sand tea. You can taste the aroma of sand tea as soon as you eat it. The pork is made from shredded pork, and some cabbage, onions, and carrots are stir-fried. It tastes like a light vegetable sweetness, which is quite good. Food, give it to me!
Braised noodles (small) $75
Braised noodles should be the signature of this restaurant. I saw 7 out of 10 customers ordering this noodle.
When you eat the soup and noodles, you can tell that the vegetables and shredded pork inside have been stir-fried first, so that they are not greasy but not greasy, and there is no additional thickening, so the soup still tastes very refreshing~
The amount of green vegetables is also larger than that of fried noodles. If you want to eat soup noodles, I highly recommend ordering this bowl. It is not a bland noodle soup.
Eggplant and side dishes $30
The eggplant looks bright purple and tastes good. It's not too soft. It's topped with minced garlic, green onions and barely spicy chili peppers, which is a plus. The garlic taste is very fragrant and goes well with the eggplant. !
Overall, the price is quite affordable. The performance of the knife-cut noodles is excellent. The two types of noodles I ate today also tasted good. I would like to come back to try other types of noodles in the future~
