"Ijike Fresh Stir-fry" has been on my list for a long time, and I don’t even remember why I saved it. To conclude my experience, I was very disappointed; almost every dish was unappetizing. Each dish was loaded with a lot of chili, and the heavy flavors are only suitable for pairing with alcohol. The service attitude was also very poor—the staff nearly all had sour expressions, and when they delivered dishes, they just tossed them on the table without saying what they were. Personally, I didn’t enjoy the meal at all.

Upon sitting down, we were served a small plate of cold seaweed as a complimentary dish, seasoned with chili oil—it was just ordinary.

Dishes I thought were okay:

  • Fish-flavored Eggplant: It’s suitable for pairing with rice because the flavor is very strong. There’s a bit of stir-fried greens and basil mixed in. Possibly because I already like eggplant, I thought it was not bad.
  • Oyster Fritters: The oysters were quite large, and there was a good amount. They were fragrant when freshly fried and didn’t need salt for dipping.
  • Bean Paste Cod: The fish didn’t have any strange fishy taste, but I felt the combination with bean paste wasn’t perfect.
  • Fried Rice: It had a nice wok aroma and egg fragrance. Although it was on the wetter side, it was quite tasty, but it has to be eaten hot; once it cools down, it’s completely unappetizing.

Dishes I thought were not good:

  • Shredded Tofu with Meat: The tofu had a very strong fermented taste and was sour, so I didn’t like it.
  • Kung Pao Chicken: Quite spicy, but the seasoning was different from what I imagined for Kung Pao Chicken!!!! This is just spicy chicken!!!
  • Stir-fried Water Spinach: Also had a weird taste; normally, stir-fried water spinach doesn’t taste like this. As someone who enjoys water spinach, I found it unacceptable.
