During my layover at Nadi International Airport in Fiji, I chose a familiar fast food brand—Burger King. The branch here is located in the departure area, with simple and bright decor, similar to Burger Kings around the world.
I ordered a cheeseburger combo that included fries and a soda. When the meal arrived, it was aromatic, and the burger looked quite neat, with a thick beef patty and evenly melted cheese, accompanied by lettuce and pickles. The moment I took a bite, I could feel the rich blend of juices and cheese. The taste is not much different from Burger King in Taiwan or other countries, but perhaps due to limited staff at the airport, the service was a bit slow. Pairing it with a cold Sprite, I took a bite of the burger and a sip of the soda, and the familiar fast food rhythm momentarily helped me forget my travel fatigue.
Considering the price level in Fiji, this combo is somewhat expensive, about NT$200, but it's reasonable for an airport environment. The overall taste was average, without any special surprises, but it was consistent.
