The café that my friend found is located a bit far from the city center; it's at least a small distance from the train station. We came here primarily for its savory pancakes, and they indeed impressed me.
It seems they are collaborating with a fortune teller. If you spend a certain amount, you can draw a capsule toy and win different prizes (as shown in the picture), and there’s also a resident fortune teller.
The decor is minimalist and the color scheme is consistent, creating a comfortable atmosphere. There aren’t many seats and the space is quite small, so even on a weekday afternoon, you might have to wait for a table. The environment is very quiet.
The food was served a bit slowly, possibly related to the items we ordered; my friend and I waited about 15 to 20 minutes for our pancakes!
Here’s what I ate:
🌻 Sea Salt Toffee Milk - $130
I found it very delicious... The combination of sea salt and toffee is just right, blending both unique flavors without overpowering each other. However, toffee tends to be quite sweet, so if you don’t like sweet things, you might want to consider this.
🌻 Earl Grey Chiffon Cake - $140
The cake itself is tasty! It's soft with enough aroma, and the tea flavor is just right. The cream on top, although drizzled with honey, isn’t too sweet and actually integrates perfectly because the cake itself isn’t very sweet!
In terms of chiffon cakes I've had, this one is relatively large in portion.
🌻 Spiced Bacon Sausage Pancakes - $200
When it was served, I thought it would taste like pizza (sorry for my rudeness). Although the pancakes are on the sweet side, which I usually dislike when it comes to savory dishes, it surprisingly paired perfectly! The flavor is just right, not too salty or bland, and it looks really good. I definitely recommend trying the savory pancakes!
What my friend had:
🌻 Roasted Tea Latte - $150
Just a regular latte.
🌻 Seasonal Fruit Waltz Pancakes - $180
The types of seasonal fruits vary. This time, it had kiwi, purple grapes, and white grapes. The grapes were sliced so thinly, it was a bit astonishing… My friend thought they tasted okay.
Overall, it’s a pretty good place where you can also concentrate on work or studying, and the pancake skin is very special. If you’re interested, you should really give it a try!
