Been eating at this restaurant for over 25 years.
It is a very well-known old store in Xinzhuang.

What I had today was a large bowl of half-gluten and half-meat noodles, with thin noodles.
The total meal for three people and side dishes was 590.
The big bowl of beef noodle soup started at NT$65 in elementary school and now it’s already NT$100 without realizing it. It’s really touching.

The store has three types of noodle to choose from. The ramen about ten years ago was cylindrical like udon noodles and very elastic. Unfortunately, due to various reasons, it was replaced by the current wide version of ramen.
It’s not that it’s not delicious, I’m just not used to the texture of noodles.
Back to the thin noodles, the thin noodles themselves are not chewy, but they are not without taste either. They go well with the soup and do not have the alienating feeling of noodles.
The large bowl of noodles is very filling, and customers with average appetites can be very full by ordering the medium bowl.

The soup is still full of beef flavor, and the rich and mellow soup is a perfect match with the store's homemade chili.
The store has been on TV several times because of its special chili peppers, and it also held several spicy eating competitions more than ten years ago. There is still a ranking list from that time in front of the store.
When I was young and energetic, I often enjoyed spicy food with a spiciness level of four, but occasionally I was overwhelmed by the spicy level of five. Now that I am old, I can just add an acceptable amount of chili pepper and enjoy the food.
You can also add the butter provided by the store, go to the counter to refill the soup, and enjoy the aroma of the oil melting in the hot soup. It is really delicious.

The beef and beef tendon are both very tasty, smooth and chewy but not hard like rubber.
As a side dish, I ordered liver skewers and powdered liver. Remember to rewarm the gan skewers on the spot for the kitchen staff. It is not impossible to eat them directly, but it tastes better if they are rewarmed.
The hot green vegetables are from mainland China. At 30 yuan for a portion, it can be said to be a very good deal.
Winter melon tea and soy milk are freely available.
Are you saying that you won’t be full if you eat here? Basically it's impossible.

A few years ago, comics were available for reading in the store, but unfortunately as time went by, they were slowly removed.

So far, I still maintain the rhythm of eating it at least once every half month.
Although I have grown up now, purely in terms of taste, I have never tasted beef noodles that are better than this one, but after considering all the factors (maybe a little memory bonus).
Xiaba Beef Noodles is still No.1 in my heart.
