Taipei Wanhua - a 40-year-old brand, known as the originator of self-service hotpot
The clerk will come and ask what kind of meat we want. We choose pork because the stone hot pot requires the meat to be stir-fried first (with green onions, onions, shredded carrots, sesame oil, nine-layer pagoda, and shrimp), and the aroma is overflowing. The meat will not be completely fried until it is cooked, but will be put aside to be eaten before being thrown into the hot pot for rinsing. I think the meat doesn't taste that good, it's a bit tough and old.
After frying the meat, add the vegetable plate you brought to the pot, then add the stock and cook together. The broth is very flavorful, but becomes salty if cooked for a long time.
Each one will have an egg attached.
You can pick up the dishes on your own if you want to eat. When you check out, it will look like an abacus! (Cash only)
I think the dishes are similar to those in hot pot restaurants, nothing special or memorable! But the water lotus is delicious, we took 3 plates haha
You get your own sauce. The only special thing is the mashed garlic, which is mixed with shredded ginger. The color looks very dark, like sand tea sauce.
There is hot tea available next to the sauce. If you want a drink, you need to go to the refrigerator to pick it up, but the price is not written.
▶️ Environment
🔹The dining environment is quite large, with 6~7 large round tables that can seat 5~6 people and 3~4 tables for two.
🔹After all, it is an old restaurant. The decoration, tableware and plates are quite old, and the dining environment is not very good.
