🎖️ Tea with a Beautiful Face 🎖️
A milk tea shop that is delicious but has become incredibly popular, originating from Changsha, Hunan, and has been gradually opening stores in second-tier cities over the past year (note: only in second-tier cities; no openings in first-tier cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen).
When it opened in Wuxi, there was a three-hour wait, which led to many scalpers, but that's another story!
Their main focus is on new-style Chinese tea drinks, and the flavors are quite good, with the Orchid Latte being their signature drink. However, there is too much cream on top, so those who are on a diet should be cautious!
They also sprinkle some bread crumbs on their drinks, which adds a nice sweet and salty flavor!
This time, I had the "Youth" with a milk cap, based on oolong tea, and the milk cap was sweet and salty (maybe?). It was quite delicious, and honestly, there’s a reason why Tea with a Beautiful Face is popular; it really is tasty.
I also bought a pack of cheese crackers, with a cover featuring a cultured figure who looks like Lu Xun. In mainland China, Lu Xun is highly respected, and there are memorial squares dedicated to him and Chen Duxiu everywhere, as it is believed that with them, new (Communist) China was established.
I really want to know what Lu Xun, Chen Duxiu, and others would think about the current system and way of life in new (Communist) China if they were alive today.
Just like Jiang Youqing coming to Ningbo, Zhejiang, claiming that Lai Ching-te is nothing more than the governor of Taiwan Province; can old Jiang and little Jiang still hold their ground?
